The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 911导致飞机迫降，一大堆来自世界各地不同的语言、信仰、性向、饮食的陌生人被迫隔离封闭在一个小岛。导致的个体巨大的孤独、断层感，与世界割裂崩塌(虽然生活扔要继续)，失去一切被无力所吞噬，在困境中如同cosplay的异样。承受着同样的割裂与孤独的人们无法忍受新闻，走出家门为陌生人做点什么，用宽容与爱去对抗这一切的故事。
這是一部很棒的音樂劇，旋律優美，歌詞細膩多層次，結合當年發生的事件，讓人感動。
紧紧凑凑的一部剧，soon we all say goodbye
小舞台，省演员，12人个个分饰多角，营造出人声鼎沸之感。技术上节奏明快，过场如飞，毫不拖泥带水，却一点也不突兀，有非常高水准。故事上就是一报告文学，却让人看得津津有味，灾难之际陌生人似乎更易释放善意，写得足够细腻。当然对于遭受更多苦难与灾难的人群来说显得似乎有些矫情。
和这样一部片子不期而遇真的是太幸福了～强烈推荐！！！
艺术来源于生活，真实的生活真实的故事最为动人。
作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。

真正需要我们重视的东西，在come from away里面就展现出来了，灾难后，也许世界没有变得更好，歧视和战争还在，但我们更应该向这些islanders学习，不去想权谋和观点的碰撞，只有you’ve done the same. 经历过疫情发生的小城，当地人以自己的方式，不忍心医护人员吃泡面，从自家备好鸡鸭给他们送去。are we going to do the same?
宿命般的遇见。TV版居然切割成了几篇...
在如今全球lockdown的时期，“No man is an island"的颂歌显得尤为可贵。这也是我看过了布景、角色、场景转换最有创意的一部音乐剧了，虽然一人分饰好几角，但是个个都人设分明，没有一丝混乱。里面的不同种族、宗教信仰、性别和国籍的陌生人的碰撞和交往都是理想社会中才能达到的和谐。看到最后音乐剧中原型的人和演员一一合影的时候，一边哭一边觉得：哇，原来世界可以这么美好啊。

9.11二十周年之际看这部展现人类闪光时刻格外暖心，纽芬兰的许多都是人们理想的状态，种族宗教性取向都不再是问题，仿佛不存在少数和多数的概念，小镇的人为在黑暗中的人带来了光，尤其是知道了是真实发生的事件后，更为感动，在这世间还是有美好的人和事存在的，最糟糕的时刻总是最能展现人性，想去世界尽头的甘德看一看。
泪流满面，太久没看音乐剧了，心跳加速，想念可以去剧院看引进剧的日子
