The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 220508，在这个疫情严峻的当下，在隔离的房间里，这部电影给了我太多的喜悦、感动与希冀。第一次看这样的百老汇音乐剧录像，真的是绝好的现代艺术啊，一方小小的舞台，简单的布景与道具，却生动地表现了这样一个饱满的故事，厉害厉害。
bravo！这才是音乐剧！一个沉重的故事能够用诙谐幽默的曲调讲述最后又归为向上的生活，实在是演绎得太精彩！舞美？几乎零成本！导演编排得太妙！在有限的空间去呈现一座小镇在重大灾难下五天里无私的奉献！在灾难面前的团结总是那么令人动容！为什么我们的音乐剧无法去诙谐的缓解伤痛被？为什么伤痛总被刻意加深拷上镣铐无法再提及呢，这就是格局吧，好遗憾。歌也都好好听，泪目了都，喜欢！！
热血沸腾，哽咽多次，无论这个世界有多么糟糕，还有音乐，真是件幸运的事。表白女机长！

可能这是我注定无法欣赏的一部音乐剧了，群像太多太杂随意转换，一直处在一种情绪很饱满激动的状态中。第二次坚持看到1/2又失败了… 唉，可能是我不懂欣赏吧。
第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
片长一小时46分钟。视觉+1，剧情没漏洞但不是特别吸引人+0.5，表演真实感+1，听觉+1，创新程度+0.5，给四星。
