The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 甘斯布居然演高中生的妈了！而且是更年期遇到青春期那种，但即使片中自嘲的怨妇状态，也满满文艺范儿，诠释巴黎的人间烟火，以及如何历练着优雅老去。三个大孩子的成长迷惑和阵痛故事没太多新意，好看在于讲述的细腻。
也许抓到了一些80s巴黎的神韵，但更多依赖于表层符号和技术手段来实现，故事则过分温柔、平滑到近乎失真，恍如听了首流水线制作的梦泡。

夏洛特真是风情万种，可却不敢说她是个好演员。坐在同一间放映厅看这间放映厅出现在电影里，算是个体验。
生活里重要的究竟是什么呢？成长、反思、个性、正义？还是享乐？到最后唯一能让人感到慰藉的只有善良和爱，其他的一切好像只是为了让人在短暂的一生中有事可做。
