剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     为那个惊掉下巴的无限分娩奇观我还是愿意给出高分，整个片子指向和厌男情绪太明确，以爱要挟两性关系，拆解成几类男性角色的具体形象来批判拙劣的道德绑架，就算再怎么“重新做人”一变再变看似“毫无保留”地求爱，本质还是一个样，真的很讽刺与挖苦。主题曲无缝衔接， Elton John的一首老歌《Love Song》Love is the opening door/Love is what we came here for/No one could offer you more.

    第一幕完成度非常高，诡异的氛围从始至终都维持得很棒，有民俗恐怖的特点。第二幕一来被预告剧透，二来过于直白，力度就弱了些，而且太多无所适从的慢镜头和剪辑让我很迷惑。结尾被评论剧透，有些心理准备，但更多的是电影本身泄了气，所以荒谬大于可怖，还是非常遗憾。这部电影能让我想起《Them》和《Lovecraft Country》这两部剧，和前者除立意外，就连标题几乎都如出一辙，而后者自然是 cult 场面的联想，提到这一点，我不太相信导演没有看过 extraweg 的作品。最后想说一句，对于类似形象的塑造，杰西·巴克利比伊丽莎白·莫斯水平要高出一大截。
