The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情一般，但是谢苗演技挺在线的，打斗戏很有想象中的武侠感。剧情拖累了，3星还是稳的，值得一看。
3.5。完整，清楚，不啰嗦，少尿点。有槽点：唐朝吃牛肉犯法。所以，类似牛肉汤面而且自己家牛保新鲜这样的错误，还有。
好棒好酷，谢苗这侠里侠气的，提刀碎壶溅酒花，刀鞘一闪刃飞火，雪中狂舞血光寒，誓杀宇文还公道。动作好评干脆利落，台词好评没有废话，画面好评色调冷淡光影锐利，故事简单但也说得过去，就很棒！
女演员一言难尽....

放在网大维度考量算是精品了。它也是如今难得的能做出武侠风范的国产片。动作场面有氛围上的铺陈，场景、构图、打光都有雕琢感；具体到武打设计，走的是偏写实的硬派路子，尤其是错骨手，招式起落都见细节，断骨一幕好评。成瞎子为了一壶好酒和一个公道，便毅然踏上了锄强扶弱之路，不问生死，不求功名。侠义之心，因其质朴才显珍贵。在国产武侠式微的当下，这样的作品太值得鼓励了。
事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。 杀一个人要偿命，杀一万个就不用了。
武术指导非常好，谢苗灵的，可惜剧本相当简陋，镜头剪辑也是网大统一水准，没什么电影感，比较可惜吧
谢苗的打戏真的帅！就凭他的打戏，我都要给五颗星！
