The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 是一部极致的影像化戏剧，美感都建立在影像技术升华的戏剧形式上，而精彩的戏剧化电影应该是黑泽明的《蜘蛛巢城》。

7.9 每次dw的电影都会觉得他很厉害，但又喜欢不起来，production design 真的很棒。
我就是为了摄影才看它的，黑白的层次真丰富啊。故事也没有太大的改动。
这也太忠实原著了吧，戏剧化的原著台词、没有扩充的剧情，也没有主题延伸，尽管声音、摄影都不错，但作为电影还是太别扭了吧。原著就是古代那种耳熟能详的最毒妇人心，男人被吹枕边风就变坏的叙事，现在还这么呈现出来就太落后了。
没有文化的我听不进去台词看了几次终于看完，光觉得摄影挺好了，但不懂为啥非要拍成黑白的
演技最好的麦克白夫妇。摄影真的是太绝了！太绝了！太绝了！
但感觉没什么角度

科恩采用表现主义，却又把古典表现得过于古典，反而少了一些新意
远不如1971年的波兰斯基版，甚至不如2015版。科恩也有翻车时。
艺术气息和舞台剧和形式过重 大段大段晦涩飘忽的对白 就很沉闷了。
