The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 还不错，3.5分，就是太黑了，看得我眼珠子都快掉下来了。
天下电影一大抄，不知道还以为是网飞的大数据电影呢。腐败警察那个神经质抽搐的表情特别像这个杀手不太冷，西餐厅老板变成了旧车市场老板，一直照料着深居简出的员工，小孩都成了孤儿，最后都进了福利院…
算是简单的爽片，有赛车有打斗，音效也不错，剧情则好莱坞重复了很多次，可以一看。主角设定为一个染发的小萝莉，却没能控制住场面，完全没表现出应有的狠劲辣劲干练劲。最后，不知是不是是否翻译的问题，这个小朋友有点没礼貌啊，叫主角不叫姐姐，叫阿姨，居然没被踹下车。
反转真是没想到。捉迷藏的长镜头张力十足。狗情义的刻画很不错。其它部分执行得一般般。硬蹭了第一部的流量，剧情其实可以说毫不相关，以至于“盲”这个属性编剧已经懒得去圆，主人公的刻画直接是照着健全人的模式套。
完成度蛮高的 不知道是不是因为刚看完警官的血对比之下看这个就觉得好好看……音乐有遗憾
BGM什么的真的太惊喜了！
第一部的精彩在于惊悚的节奏而非剧本。
感觉这部的问题跟寂静之地2有点相似，都是继第一部小格局有限空间拓展开来后人物行为动机逐渐脱离生本能范畴，伴随着老梗新说的跳吓环节不断出现（角色视觉听觉硬设定）剧情走向也自然变得越来越顺拐可测。唯一亮点是那只狗所透露出来对反派的嘲讽意味，即简单粗暴的情感捆绑式利益链逻辑不但对人不具有通用性，动物亦如是。
过于简洁以及短平快。像是只有两场打斗戏硬生生扩展成一个电影的体量，动作戏无功无过。史蒂芬朗的个人魅力硬撑全片。

这集好血腥，求女狂魔继续可怜又可恨地上演孤胆盲侠一路杀杀杀！新一代嗜血萝莉不死Phinex浴火浴血诞生。剧情亲妈摊牌到手术前那幕简直黑暗童话👁👁👁
第一集盲叔战力和地下室秘密都算新鲜，好奇续作能有什么新花样，结果走了盲兰博路线，音效的设计依旧一流，但后半段略扯。。
漂移停车太炫酷了些
这个系列核心点子的亮点在于，黑暗中对抗双方的不平衡。这就像《侏罗纪公园》异特龙、《异形》异形、《寂静之地》怪物甚至《终结者》里T1000、《哈利波特》摄魂怪一样，总是在特定环境、与人类的对比中形成了优势，同时有保有阿喀琉斯之踵（服务于结局主角的胜利/或现在更流行的虚晃一枪、反派胜利）。但是，第二部转型为比较纯粹的动作片后，这种由不平衡引起的恐惧感并不能完美配合光影营造骇人效果。另外，记得立场反转是第一部的优点，在第二部里依然是随着反转观众心里变换着主角的带入顺位。至于这种立场变换是否能换来大众的认同，又待商榷了。小女孩这角色除了变成立场翻转和老头动机的双重工具人外，浪费了开场一串犀利的躲闪训练伏笔，真的可惜。
全员恶人还是挺来劲了，就是可惜的小妹妹，夺无辜一孩子！！！
《屏住呼吸2》——这个瞎子不太冷，且致敬豆瓣消失已久的“父母皆祸害”小组。
这哪里还屏住呼吸，分明是盲僧单人屠杀弱智打手，小女孩和狗全都要，前半段很有紧张感，可惜后半段复仇戏太拉，能赢全靠对手犯蠢和放手，整体质量不如第一部。看彩蛋的样子，这片不是还想拍第三部吧？
还是这么精彩，气氛太好了，虽然最后的反杀有点扯。。小姑娘以后必成大器！
