The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 冲着六十年代，和艾伦·索金（《社交网络》《点球成金》《史蒂夫·乔布斯》的编剧）看的这部电影。还是他擅长的真实历史事件，讲述了1968年7名反战人士因未经批准举行抗议活动而被捕，随后接受政治审判的故事。“七君子审判”成为60年代民权运动的重要事件。

文本出色，法庭戲劇感重。當有爭執、連珠發砲時，整部電影充滿節奏感；但有些文戲雖然寫得好，剪接的節奏卻跟不上——這問題在片頭，出片名前後兩個sequence最明顯。

夏虫不可语冰。他们拥有我们所没有的，所以最后一幕的读名激荡人心。不怕这片像某些电影一样消失。因为“全世界都在看！”
剪辑太好了，印象很深刻。主要人物的塑造也很好，让我觉得他们每个人都有不一样的有趣的地方，太喜欢艾比了，真的很有魅力的人啊。如果要示威游行，还是应该带个头盔，被打脑袋真的很疼诶！

映衬这段历史的荒诞//
倒数第二段前司法长出庭作证让人燃起希望，最后一段内部预演激烈又还原事实真相，庭上逐一报5000多名越战逝去的年轻生命，震撼。电影不错，但对外文名字名盲，每次看这样的庭审都吃力，来回看了几遍才把后一小时看完。
地球上真的有民主之地？民主这个词何罪只有。只有当局者清楚。
喜欢小雀斑饰演的汤姆海登这个角色，有克制，有理智，有热血，有情义。
