The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木真的老了，他真的不该再演了，神态动作都非常迟缓的男主实在让人不忍直视。这个故事也偏陈旧，重复，毫无吸引力的流水账。远的不说，和前年的《理查德朱维尔的悲歌》的稳准狠相比，都天壤之别。
老爷子的这部新片不像一部电影，更像是一位91岁的老人在为你讲述他的人生智慧。
比预期要好，东木的影片向来情感真挚，可总少不了一丝说教味，在车上与男孩的对话是一种自嘲，对于牛仔/硬汉精神开始进行思考，在精神上有了一丝突破，期待他今后的创作方向。
东木老爷子依然创作力旺盛，可也想着休息咯～
成也東木，敗也東木。但是这是东木，没有什么电影是败，只是看东木想要玩什么
cowboy挽歌，骡子这次在完美的世界中运的是男孩，也是自己的往昔。老爷子对过去是无限怀念，i don’t know how to cure old,这也是他对自己的发问吧。感动，只要你还在拍片，我们就能于银幕相遇。

看的好难受啊，情愿相信东木是为了那段话才拍了这部电影，这片子完全就是下水道级别，人物塑造简直烂到家，故事逻辑也不要了，尤其与男孩妈妈共处一室那段，虽然你是世界上最帅的老头，但你觉得自己还有性魅力吗？
只能用无趣来形容了。。。。全程真的很无趣很没意思，感觉是在浪费时间，还好没有去电影院看。。。

属于老年人的温存。但剧本属实是有些硬伤。确实就算是东木的忠粉这次也很难打出四星了。但是看老爷子这身体状况挺不错的，应该还能再拍吧，持续期待。
