The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 叙事的确很像驯龙高手，海怪的形象真的超级像里面的龙。
听着布彻尔的配音还是真的舒服，剧情就是中规中矩，虽然老套，说教意味之多，但光靠海兽和特效美景，还是惊艳了一身。看得出来是网飞对动漫的试水之作，希望可以更狂野、黑暗和反套路一些。
人物造型虽然丑，但是红黄蓝怪兽组合倒是分外养眼~
画面很美，剧情有些平庸。几场海战还是挺精彩的。
合格线以上的商业片。真正让它深刻的不是老一套种族性别战争，而是——谁掌握权力，谁就掌握历史；谁掌握历史，谁就掌握未来。

萌萌的海兽，老主角和老船长的传承与理念对抗，小女孩发现了是皇宫制造矛盾挑起人类与海兽的斗争，振臂一呼应者云集。
不能说不好看，只是剧情毫无新意，换汤不换药的好莱坞动画大片可以有点新追求吗？
还是老生常谈的话题，与生俱来被灌输的观点是否真的是对的，盲目的民众，盲目的相信，一代人传一代人。这其实都是政治隐喻，不能深说。
画面莫名廉价，剧情很幼稚，两星全给那只蓝色小怪物
但是看到结局才明白，海兽它们只是为了反击，挑起战争的依旧是充满着贪欲的领导人…最后是稚嫩的小女孩挑明了一切真相，真是讽刺。
经典！
百无聊赖，打开这部航海冒险题材的动画来看。搏击画面的连贯感，海洋带来的压抑与浩瀚，感官享受好棒。猎人游侠这一类的冒险故事一直是我的一个嗨点，谁人不向往自由呢。故事也穿插了海兽的温情，是一个中规中矩值得一看的动画。
