The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 对比老虚的鬼哭街和沙耶我实在不相信这剧本是这样一位人能写出来的，情节有点俗套枯燥个人有点遗憾不解。
已经对这种展示东亚民族生死观的电影脱敏了，因为看得太多了，长镜头非常棒，调度可圈可点。有一句台词说男人是没有进化完整的动物。结尾的超现实没必要，本来是一部生活流的家庭电影，加这些乱七八糟的魔幻处理很出戏。
说这是一部MV更确切，音乐不错，画面很炫，适合在影院观看，故事大纲还是不错的，但太不细腻了，女主角塑造的也不够丰满，用着萤火之森的点子，但女主消失的时候一点效果都没有，这就挺失败的
