The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 纳粹军团抢宝藏，下一站，地狱。很难不去想象作者创作的时候磕药了吗，坚持了三十年的定格动画，给我们带来了一副绚丽多彩，诡异荒诞，阴森恐怖，迷幻离奇的观影体验。疯神，封神!
宗教式的惩罚和对末世的想象。刺激出恶心这样一种强烈的情绪来触发抗拒、厌恶的反应以达到避害、警惕的目的，影片或许是一个警世寓言，混杂着疫情时代的焦虑，让人类反思所有自我毁灭性质的行为。
极致的氛围塑造，构筑了一个支离破碎的黑暗血肉世界，不过除了极强的画面表现力外并没有什么太多的优点，如果单纯的突出实验性跟先锋性，完全可以做成短片，一个多小时的片长却没有一个完整的故事，看到那些宗教隐喻实在是味同嚼蜡
