The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Movie of the year. A blessing for any theatre/musical lover or idealist. Story about 90s, Broadway, New York, creativity, love, fear, time, and life. Don’t mind Lin’s rusty directing, the emotions are so raw. R.I.P. Stephen Sondheim, who passed away just after the release of this film. We all have, and will always have a song unsung.
同为LMM的作品，比起《In the Heights》，我更喜欢这部（好多重合的演员），不仅剧情跟紧凑，歌曲也更好，加菲的表演很加分。ITH中只有一首印象深刻的歌，这部则太多了，最喜欢的还是Therapy，特别是歌词，笑死我了：I'm saying I feel bad, that you feel bad；About me feeling bad, about you feeling bad；About what I said, about what you said；About me not being able to share a feeling。
半自传式呈现音乐剧作家的艺术人生。故事和音乐都不太出色。
粉丝向作品，表演刻意，音乐随意，缺乏亮点，强行催泪。

创作者大概是最不能平衡工作和生活的吧。整个人好像分裂成两个，一个还在惯性关心着亲友，一个已经游离出去在想怎么把这个素材好好用起来。又焦虑又冷漠。但是没办法，对于有天赋的人来说，没有什么比创作更重要。最极致的痛苦和甜蜜都因创作产生。唯一美中不足的是加菲唱的一般。/《Superbia》那段几个歌手应该是专业的，Sextet Montage那段那个卷发女生唱得好好！另外力荐《Rent》好吗，有机会看的都去看！
电影还行吧。但乔纳森的经历更让我触动，他在《吉屋出租》开演之前就去世了，这让他成为一位最纯粹的艺术家和理想主义者。

根本看不下去，太流水账了，剧情非常俗套，歌舞完全嗨不起来。
临近年底，好片如潮。我被《倒数时刻》深深击中！
看之前没了解片子任何背景，然后边看边一直在感叹好像rent啊，看到最后才发现拍的就是rent的原作者的故事……
网飞能不能别拍伪纪实片了，开头那个N一闪过接下来两个小时只要一想到这东西在消费我的同情心和价值取向就会心理不适
