The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 原来以为我们是个石油国家，其实我们是个海洋国家。不是所有的资源都能获取的，正在开采的油井若干年后会出现灾难吗？人类应该谨慎向地下深处索取，努力发展太阳能和风电更安全。电影中人文情节也很不错，值得一看。
上班途中看会被主角元气加成，下班看…假嗨两星。剧情像看达人秀花絮，只有冠军配有背景故事，但又挺轻松可爱。小女孩演技不能说差，但为么米国10-25岁女性都是同一套肢体语言，不知道是青年太低幼，还是儿童太成熟。
欧洲人不喜欢看电影，还是喜欢歌剧啊。

《北海》的故事设定在挪威，在一次钻井平台事故中，专家发现挪威海岸存在塌陷隐患，共计350座钻井平台存在着损毁的可能，为了最大限度避免环境污染，石油公司开展了全规模的钻井封闭和人员撤离。作为营救类电影，《北海》算是中规中矩，但在俄乌关系的当下，这部电影的意义就有些微妙的感觉了。
滥用手持摄像，电影看了10分钟让人头晕眼花，果断弃
2.5，相当凑合。粉丝向的片子，延续旧作风格，新老演员都是熟脸。故事的套路和今年的新黑客帝国和新捉鬼敢死队很像，剧情纯为了重启而硬编，不少桥段无脑弱智，不断地cue原作，人物出场生硬毫无铺垫，不是粉丝看不明白其中关系。最近新拍的几部重启片都不行，看得出来好莱坞是有些黔驴技穷了。
6.5/10 如果试图续拍曾经红极一时的知名系列, 制作组首先必须分清'致敬经典'与'贩售情怀'的区别。 否则就如'黑客帝国4''惊声尖叫5'一般, 花费时间去追忆昔日荣光, 却招致反感。 同时自作聪明的进行自嘲与讽刺, 更是让本片显得冗长无趣。 万幸本片依旧奉上不少富有视觉冲击力的场面, 外加猜测凶手的过程, 让本片拥有足够的可看性。 此外顺应时代发展而试图展现的女性力量, 也通过几场搏斗戏份以一定水准合格的展现。 但整体而言, 这仍旧不算一部优秀的系列重启之作。
3.5 Suddenly Seymour真是神来一笔，看哭了。
很不错的欧美爱情轻喜剧，重点不在搞笑，而是尴尬范，虽然某些地方不如人意，但足够让人看得下去，且看完心情愉悦。7.3
挪威版《紧急救援》？似乎是吧，虽然我还没有看。故事完整，就是一个大无畏敢于牺牲自己的朋友真难找。全片结束后，只想说，对自然友好一些，要抱有敬畏之心，不然当你凝视着深渊的时候，深渊也在凝视着你。3星。
这等阵容仅是交出一部配合流媒体时境放出的命题片属实浪费- -但这里的悖论是，如若不是流媒，这样的制作还能在哪里出现。简单与不带有过度的感情和转折的情节，更多保留几分洋洋得意的傻气与幽默；“失恋阵线联盟”的互相治愈故事虽老套，但不排除嗅察两颗心逐渐走近的奇妙；还是足够讨喜的。
