During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 在这个充斥着谎言和欺骗的孤岛，挣扎在死亡边缘的人，皆是蝼蚁，难得解脱。无论敌我，无关选择
这部电影里面克里斯派恩还是可以，三个年龄段完全不一样的风格，最后这个成熟阶段很有皮尔斯布鲁斯南的感觉。至于女主角，完全没有能够和派恩搭戏，没有CP感，分分钟出戏。
看起来像一群过气的老影星凑一起拍个片，挣点生活费，剧情东拼西凑，1星吧，以资鼓励。
一个悲伤的故事徐徐展开，这就是在别国乱搞的下场
片名和内容什么关系啊没看懂。配乐和摄影都煞有介事，前10分钟有点懵，中间60分钟有点无聊，后20分钟说不玩了摊牌了。
这种类型的影片需要静下心来慢慢看，指望看大场面的可以退了。

这个世界有一部分矛盾就是功利主义和个体之间的冲突，无解，最后往往是小丑竟是自己。叙事力度掌握的不咋滴，床戏有点抢镜，虽然我不反感
总体是一部好电影。
派派真的好美～但是这部片他就是“去世的白人EX”啊（谁懂这个梗）船戏相当的“坦诚相待”了，派演好男友是很不错但是牛顿姐姐好像有点接不住这深情（这片压根就是扯了个间谍片的外衣拍的人到中年忆当年的女性向soft po*n吧
不说本身就隔应这女的，单剧情转折来讲选这么个内外不沾的女主，一点信服力没有。
嘴炮悬疑惊悚片，前一小时看着很累人，就是要反转反转再反转，打着旋儿地反转，刻意的设置不免有逻辑漏洞，乐趣就是猜坏蛋

穿插着无聊床戏和回忆旧情的假悬疑片，想剑走偏锋地去讲述谍战片，却连故事也没讲好。派克船长最近接不到好片了吗？最近一部《承包商》也是烂得如出一辙 @Prime Video

披着间谍情节的爱情片？贯穿整部电影的餐厅戏有点意思 就是派派和女主没什么cp感 派派饰演这个年龄跨度很大的角色很不错 该年轻时候年轻 该成熟的时候成熟
