The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 为了让恐怖片里角色的行为说得通，导演Rob savage希望找到一个稍微癫狂的人。最后他找到了LA当地的音乐主播Annie来当这部电影的主角。Annie出演的角色可以说是一个更加疯癫版的自己，从头到尾的台词充斥着各种政治不正确言论，阴谋论，反口罩。带着好奇心我去看了Annie本人的推特和ins，原来这些都是她本人的真实想法。。。单纯这点就会激怒无数观众并导致了本片评价极端化。Annie本人最后用演员表来RAP作为结束还行

电影前80%还是挺同情女主角的，孤身一人来到陌生城市，不断听着母亲临终前最后一段录音，后来才发现，原来“杀死母亲”对她来说才是得救之道。。还是蛮有寓意的，不过不怎么恐怖就是了，怪物出现之前的悬疑气氛还是挺有期待的，总体还可以，不用再看第二次
