The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 3.5星，其实是3星的恐怖片，但我喜欢它的摄影运镜、美术指导以及从一而终的克制。导演有点过于担忧观众看不懂她的表达，把所有的隐喻都拍得很直白，少了能够深挖和回味的part。
好好一部亲情片，非要拍成恐怖片，整个剧组都变态……
【C-】冠之以些许恐怖奇幻元素的寻常到不能再寻常的家庭故事，而且在角色上没有更深入的探讨，像极了一颗未能孵化成功的蛋。

要恐怖没恐怖，伦理倒是充满全片三观碎一地，结局没全家去世等于bad ending。
构图、美术很干净，透露出一种简洁的美感。
把人工智能换成蛋…剧情基本一样。孵出的是啥？鸟人？鸟变人？
奇幻中又带有一点清新，电影从一个鸟人生物的诞生，衬托了女孩的另一面，又反映出一个家庭教育的理念。
四星给童年的美好回忆吧！
影片的氛围营造得还可以，温柔滤镜里的诡异。
带娃看的，比想象的好看多了，有笑点有感动，泪点极低的丫头哇哇大哭。

有一点点像黑天鹅，toxic的母女关系，完美主义控制狂母亲，女孩的青春期性启蒙性压抑……
有心理恐怖内味，不过剧情明显不足以支撑一个半小时的电影，感觉做成30分钟的短片更合适。虽然电影有很多暗示，但我还是愿意称之为，反应10年后网红现状的魔幻现实主义电影
