The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 但从剧迷的角度出发，那还是相当喜欢的。这两个人呀，一个负责帅气，一个负责搞笑，简直可爱到爆炸。看着他们一边做饭一边认真生活的甜蜜状态，就觉得满心欢喜。哪怕再拍一百集，我都愿意看！
这种就属于一直拍下去都可以的……谁不想和爱人一起去京都呢，这辈子也不知道还能不能实现了
太治愈了，和剧版一脉相承，各个配角也有高光time。最后看樱花的景真的太美了。
记得剧里史朗是受，电影版里贤二变成了受，举手投足刻意的娘气真有点让人没眼看。山本耕史和矶村勇斗居然客串里了一把。虽然做菜的场景看着还是非常享受，但整体故事不如剧版。
平淡温情和生活中的小美好和傲娇的人儿。就是真的不用生拉硬凑这么久。叔叔们真的看似不骚但都很精准。只是cp感真的没有，这个评分也是真的不懂。
有些冗长。美食部分略有些少了，俩人的家庭生活可真令人羡慕啊。剧版结尾说要少油少盐，一起长命百岁。这一集的结尾俩人一起说我们老了啊。虽然老了，可是有彼此的陪伴不就很好吗。
西岛叔一笑就散发负离子——但是电视电影以后还是算了吧。慢节奏弱情节的美食治愈作品还是放在深夜剧时长里看着比较舒适。
日常不喜欢另一对里面的小受阿航，又作又没礼貌，贤二最后学会穿西装的样子真的攻气十足，史朗的笑容太好看了，清水又清水的剧，看的我满屏幕开花，这样的爱情也太好了吧
自然是不如剧好看的，因为剧可以拍一些很细腻的东西能够照顾到不少细节，包括特有的电影式画面，因为有了高级感反倒丢了最该有的生活感，连做的菜都不日常了（x BUT！整体还是可可爱爱哈哈哈哈哈哈 电影上映的时候霓虹也学会给名气不高的演员砸同性剧资源试图搞人气，所以两个实力派的资深演员来演这种类型突然就显得更趣味深い了。其实做成篇幅更短的SP更好，不过也行吧，整体还是很温暖的。我岛叔呜呜呜我岛叔真的是可爱到爆炸好看到爆炸呜呜呜（一万次遗憾相方不是香川叔演的（虽然角色确实不适合他啦
和电视剧版相比，还是电视剧较为好看。因为电影版感觉很苍白，没有一个完整的故事线，一切都显得很是游离，很无聊不知道还有什么可讲。而电视剧版则不一样，故事线很清晰且很丰富。
真的不理解日本人纠结的脑回路，有话不直说看起来真的很费劲。前面很无聊，后半段好不容易有点剧情了
喜欢不仅仅是因为展现同性生活的舒适状态 更因为故事有自己生活的一部分，所以更感同身受。
不值得拍电影版，但我觉得后面剧情还挺煽情的。
看这部剧时人是分裂的：一边是“啊啊啊啊啊所有西岛的镜头都那么好看啊，尤其做饭的镜头啊，每次都能治愈我啊啊啊啊”，，，，另一边是“内野的表演过于做作了呀，做作到了恶心的地步了呀，我现实里的gay朋友不是他这样的呀”。内野的表演真的很减分。五星全给西岛。

没怎么看懂，因为女主的性格缺陷我不喜欢，所以从内心一直在排斥这部影片吧…… 我的错。
剧版还没看，但理解没啥问题哈哈。好笑的地方是真的好好笑，我也有在认真记菜谱
一部男同片，拍的如此有烟火味，贤二太加分了。
七顿饭，把面对面一起吃饭的人，变成肩并肩地感叹“真美啊”的人。老成这样真不错啊！
