The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 莱文森大大不愧是高产优质导演，去年刚出了成瘾剂量如此深刻社会议题的剧集，这次的生存者又是一场对二次大战的反思与探讨。。。。在奥斯维辛集中营这种时刻在生死边缘挣扎的族群，如果要在依赖牺牲他人性命苟且维生还是与族人同生共死之间选择。。。。彼时彼刻选择在一念之间。 然而，时过境迁从这次人祸中幸存下来的人们又如何面对这样的过去？历史又能如何公平公正评价这样的经历。。。这个故事不似去年波斯语那样黑白分明，但是对于二战这段历史演绎依旧如此深刻。。。。如今年万湖会议一般将残酷冰冷的偏见与憎恨赤裸裸的甩在观者面前，尽管这段历史早已过去70余载但它的余波始终没有停息。

非常平淡无奇，剧情等等都过于浮夸，但是也能看下去。

那个年代很残酷，但是大家都没想到，苏联接管之后，没有集中营，是另一种生不如死。 曾经共患难的人，不管是否拥有，都是刻骨铭心。“闭起双眼你最挂念谁，眼睛张开身边竟是谁”
本福斯特给力了，但虐心题材下编剧导演没有表现出真正的人性的艰难抉择或者坚韧求生的张力。看得也进入不了状态。
80岁的老导演实在不忍，这个故事可以拍得更好吧。
