The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Oscar Isaac 梳着大背头，不知为何令我想起了旧好莱坞时的演员... 画面和配乐不错，调子极慢极隐忍，然而末尾却感觉戛然而止。
算是蛮讽刺的故事。复仇和扑克毫无关系，但是也是人生无法像赌博一样算出几率
男主的扑克脸表情控制也很到位。

一个比较好的题材被导演和编剧毁得只剩形式不见高潮与转折 旧时的伤痛没说好 打扑克也没讲到点子上 两相不连贯 结果平淡得有如催眠
5.0分，叙事方式以及文本人设的枯燥导致观影感受很无趣。应该有更好的呈现方式。
Tell和Crik的对白将表达引向了另一种思考，暴力的归因究竟是functionalism还是intentionalism？类似于对纳粹德国和希特勒针对犹太人大屠杀行为研究中的观点，本片中在封闭的监禁过程中发生单向的暴力行为同样也可以从这两方面讨论，即是权力最高层的意识最大化，或者累积式激进下的恶行。作为施暴者去揭开这段心理创伤时的态度与受阴影折磨而选择自杀的施暴者的后代状态去观点对撞，是催生日后一切行为的原点。

施拉德是一位优秀的编剧 但不是优秀的导演 剧情太散且闷… 广角监狱那段是唯一亮点 ？
