The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这么多年来Schrader一直都在讲一个故事 关注一个人物。越老了后风格越加精简 现在他的电影简化到了故事的本质。清冷与克制就像有洁癖，刻板的人物，猛然觉得可能老马丁误解了他的本子，老马丁做加法 Schrader做减法。
观感和《第一归正会》还是很像的，但这部更好懂一些。。

【Cineplex】非常沉稳的一部作品，体现了导演对传统的坚守，不过这份坚守符合不符合时代转变和电影风格的时代转变就是另一个问题了。

虽说各种人设情节走向都是能想到的设定，不过整体看下来还是比较轻松有意思的小甜片的，适合拿来放松身心
无聊的爱情口水片，两个主演都挺令人讨厌的，怪不得叫《the hating game》。
以为男主角后面有大阴毛，原来是一个正直男。没有别的，就结束了90分钟
不想当布列松的施拉德不是好小津？但他真是毫无视听审美力啊
鱼眼广角和包家具的视觉效果是有意思的，除此之外难免有些无趣。
【B】必然的，轮回的，且总是可被预测的。罪孽、伤痕、受难与救赎，那些剧情被讲述的方式，正如主人公的生活一般沉闷，当然也伴随着极简的节律重复。同时也在他人的入侵中逐渐消解孤独壁垒，节奏走向失控，无论是常规的牌局博弈，还是妖艳的鱼眼镜头，都在导向那个必然的结局。也可以说全片都是为了最后一个镜头而拍，几乎完全布列松式的，跨越隔阂的温暖。

与写得有些糟糕的书改编还是有好一点，主角也是chemistry越来越强，cheesy but acceptable，lucy演得还不错，演员微表情很赞，这么cheesy的题材能演好
好简单，好喜欢。适合冬天在软绵绵的被窝里观看。
