The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 真的很好看，有泪有笑，全员演技在线。每个普通人也能创造出属于自己的奇迹
三星半吧 其实吧我觉得前面拍的真的还不错 故事很流畅很温馨啦 兄妹戏也很可爱 镜头 画面都推进地很好虽然是爽文 但是拍摄手法完全不俗套呢看的很爽很燃！但演员表演方面我总觉得差一点儿 就是小易和哈琳妹妹都差一点儿 合格的水平 就是总觉得情绪都还没推到那个点。当然啦合格即不错。其次就是觉得这个底实在有点没接住呐！这个发布会实属出戏 我觉得这个篇幅用来接妹妹的手术更好一点 毕竟整部电影就是为了妹妹的病 然后可以带过全员happyending的镜头部分比直接以字幕 呈现的感觉更好。好啦 四星祝演员易烊千玺越来越好。
3個小時的史詩片長，頂著中國當今最頂級的預算製作，絕對可以與《八佰》並列中國最佳戰爭片，但是《長津湖》比《八佰》更加具有歷史宏觀性，中美兩方視角都做的很足，不會完全主旋律膨脹過頭，戰爭場面著實烘托出悲壯史詩感，林超賢的場面調度果然厲害，有場全連在石堆上裝死的一鏡到底群戲調度嘆為觀止，陳凱歌為文戲把關，為角色互動增添人文情感，基本角色刻畫厚度有到位，徐克的部分聽朋友說集中在下集《水門橋》，期待下集的表現，吳京與易煬千璽的兄弟情意外地不錯（我是覺得他們比較像父子啦哈哈），下集估計會更加壯烈，抗美援朝這段歷史課本都簡單帶過的歷史，總算知道大致全貌。
普通人面临的困难，有时像座大山，需“赌”上一切，而结局却不会像剧本，终将迎来大美好。
说起万里野孩子形象，其实挺难的。平时的四字弟弟是内敛的，一举一动是得体大方的。突然放松肢体，成为一个混不吝的野小子竟也没有一点违和感。
好看的，虽然是从一开始就能知道结局的电影，但是依然很精彩

春节档现实题材影片，这是唯一的一部，也是最值得期待的一部，不仅有华丽的制作演出阵容，还有关注大时代视角和聚焦小人物的关怀，在当下的大环境中难能可贵，也值得影评人大书特书
三个大导演合拍，导致片长过长。还是林超贤拍的坦克大战带劲，后面徐克拍的坦克，就差点意思了，只是个摆设，情绪的传递也全靠背景音乐。开篇的陈凯歌拍得都是啥啊，背景幕布般的特效格外出戏。
很不错的电影，关注的人群很接地气，整个奋斗的故事也相对真实了，几位演员（尤其是四字）演技都很棒，演出了小人员的真实感。四字又有进步了，台词也能说清楚了，和妹妹的感情戏很有泪点。扣一分在结局上，其实景浩设定为重回大学就好了，霸总有点狗尾续貂了。
文牧野不愧是青年导演的佼佼者 整部电影的画面细腻 镜头语言近乎完美！刻画小人物但不是悲苦的 是鲜活的 易烊千玺的演技越来越动人！太厉害了👍你不自觉的会为人物牵动情绪
