The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 越是落后越多压迫，越是卑微越多苦难。
30分钟男主角才登场，也是神奇的安排，搞得开始的时候真的不知道电影要讲啥。电影没有刻意的宣扬对立，鼓动变革，但正是这种克制，假设根据真实事件改编，更让人感到种姓制度的可怕。

还有人为不平等在战斗，即使是烂到骨子里的封建制度。
故事确实不错，各种有背后深意的镜头语言，要是歌舞再少点就更好了
并算不上很妙，伏笔埋得太明显，显得很蹩脚。但要表达的东西倒挺真诚的，其实这样一个故事放到其他国家必定觉得不真实，但在印度真不好说。
韩国有《辩护人》，印度有《杰伊比姆》，中国有……？
兔子现在能做的就是协助印度建立健全电影审查制度，扼杀其未来的腾飞。

音乐铛铛铛的往观众脸上砸，其实是降低电影现实主义力度的。
魔鬼在人间！警察的暴行，让人发指！一个妇女，一个律师，寻求公平正义种族平权！印度能拍出这样的电影，印度是有希望的！
唯一的败笔就是男主这个人设有些缺乏情绪的流露过于理性化。整体看着很压抑愤怒，然而人家毕竟敢拍能拍随便播……

人物塑造和台词上都太满了，显得浅白，叙事节奏和角度还不错，一环扣一环，但是突然爆出的BGM还是让人不适应
从全局来看人权斗士可能永远不会完全胜利，但每一场个体的战役都是对生命价值的殊死捍卫。
影片的现实意义非凡，几乎可以忽略其艺术性，不同地域、不同时代、不同环境，却能让大多数人感同身受，除了来自真实事件的震撼，本片主创人员的专业素养也扎实过硬，其实难的不是敢不敢拍，而是在一部电影的时间内让人产生共情。
