The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     一个小护理院面对初期新冠肆虐的无力，难得一部真实展现疫情一线的作品，类似于《索尔之子》近景别虚背景的拍法让中段的long nignt充满窒息感，导演和演员在表现这一段面对新冠病人时，慌乱又细心、无助又努力的矛盾拿捏相当准确。最后一幕跳脱出来没能延续前三分之二的出色，有些可惜。
