The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 关于自我成长，倒退式的叙事风格，使讲述具有了陌生化和间离感，一种从旁观察男主伊藤而不与其认同的观感让我很喜欢，这种冷漠的气质也是日式风格的一种典型。森山未来的冷感气质贴近男主，几位女性演员也贴近角色。
适合有一搭没一搭的看着，就像人生有一搭没一搭的过着。你以为的刻骨铭心，都是幻象。
用倒叙表现出了时间感。最后回到开头的场景有点唏嘘的。摄影和音乐都超棒。
今年的惊喜之作，比花束更安静，但更有力量。
