The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看到后面才发现，它可以是泡泡剧组，也可以是泡泡小区，更可以是泡泡城市。逃出剧组会被枪打会被谴责但还是要逃，拍电影可以是为了让人们在疫情期间有些兴致，而要是不完成这个工作对于受疫情影响的世界而已对谁都没好处，到头来还是要靠你的工作证明世界在好转。“我很担心自己会惹上麻烦，因为我没有把棉签送去做检测，大多数棉签都还在我家，我到现在都还不知道该送去哪，你知道吗？”

的确和不要抬头很相似 有些地方还挺搞笑但也很反讽
没预告片精彩！平平无奇吧，没多大意思。充其量一部枯燥的喜剧片。当初也是冲着snl几位卡司来看的，然后为了对snl的几位卡司表示支持，我给四星。
我觉得前期的烂苹果，准备新生活丢掉的烂苹果和在新生活下最后的好苹果对比镜头很不错啊
可能是期待值不高的原因吧，我竟然觉得这片子还可以。
玩的很野，讽刺得很到位，打恐龙蛋蛋那里简直笑死人。某种层面上来说演员也真是挺悲惨的，谁不想当投资人煤老板啊
胡BB了俩小时，结构挺松散的，但情节却意外的好看，轻松幽默，谁还管拍的到底是什么，笑就完了。顺便提一句，片场的酒店太好看了，谁能给科普一下是哪家酒店，等疫情结束了可以亲临现场去体验一下。

这部我打8分。以讽刺兼具幽默的角度，描写了一支顶着疫情，赶工拍烂片的荒诞剧组。各种含沙射影：不看合同乱安排剧本的无良经纪人，不干正事天天尬舞的抖音网红，编剧稀烂口味低俗的烂片导演，不是约炮就是磕药的资深演员们，核酸检测弄得恍如儿戏的菜鸟后勤，满世界度假还不忘威逼拍摄进度的影业高管。
两星半。看得出导演功力有点捉襟见肘，虽然也是疯狂吐槽向，但是和《不要抬头》比起来还是很散。不过对行业现状的挖苦和对拍摄过程的吐槽还真是很有意思，尤其是制片人投资方的“食物链”，有点真实，而且把新冠大流行的背景完全融入到整个剧本中，关注到了隔离状态下不稳定的精神状态，还是有一些现实关怀的
