是一部适合当下看的预言电影，因为主体状态从未改变。
出乎意料的紧张刺激，也从侧面提现了张伯伦的性格和理念
电影感其实蛮弱的。抛下了很多战争引发的年轻人的思索和选择。
树欲静而风不止，山雨欲来风满楼！或许真如影片所表达的，张伯伦用自己的出丑替后来的丘吉尔争取到了几分胜算也一定。片中德国外交官的立场转变显得有些突兀，另外，“元首”的演员外形实在让人非常出戏。

在《至暗时刻》之前看，历史课就篇章就顺对了。演员阵容整齐，各个有担当，画质精良，细节都能看出考量。只是被007和碟中谍还有神奇特工类高科技spy战喂熟了后，看80年前传纸条打世界大战觉得恍惚然。
