The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般
让灾难从一个抽象的事件变成一个可以触摸容易共情的事件
可惜因为疫情错过了现场观看的机会 这个角度切入这个故事的改编 真的让人无法释怀
简单的舞美和巧妙的设计，让每次转场都顺利又神奇。在大时代震动下的每一个小人物的故事都是如此动人。
节奏非常明快，对众生相的描写非常细腻，也对美国人后911的心态有比较真挚的刻画。确实是一曲人性的颂歌。17年底去纽约的时候就看到了这剧的大幅广告牌，也被当地导游推荐了这个剧，但当时去看了更有名的《西贡小姐》就没去看它。。。其实还是比较明智的选择吧，因为现场第一次看的话，肯定听不懂。。。感谢字幕帮我看了一出好戏！
19年买了票，20年全部演出取消，21年终于看到，大家都是来自远方，也欢迎远方。

Where there is darkness,only light. 平复混乱的力量。
比想象的欢乐，虽然有些笑点没get到。基于911背景的真实故事，又是疫情期间百老汇恢复的第一次演出，现实意义远大于内容。作为一部音乐剧，感觉唱段有点少，也没有太令人印象深刻的曲子。机长的高音真是又稳又轻松，Diane那段I'm here也很棒
这才是音乐剧，有好故事有好音乐有好表演，开大巴的那段动作非常逼真。
What a year like same year!
从发现是讲911的故事开始就一直流泪，编排得太好了，性别、宗教、种族、人性方面都有涉及但一点都不觉得拥挤，人物特点很鲜明所以角色切换和转场都很自然，立意也很好，既缅怀失去也致敬收获。好喜欢音乐剧群像！

耐听性包括舞台观赏性差了点。女机长solo女性力量依旧最强。
